Sony Pictures Animation's "Fixed" (Netflix) and "KPop Demon Hunters" (Netflix) streamed for audiences in 2025, although enjoyed post-facto as my role at SPA was unexpectedly eliminated in April. As anxious as searching for my next professional opportunity has been with no success, I'm led to believe this is a blessing in allowing me to dedicate energy towards the multi-year transition in finishing our home renovation and growing into a family of 4, plus Levi (9).
On June 22, Wesley Joonho Huang made his debut. In only a few months, he's inherited all our best features and twice as many of our worst. Very few things can make me forget stress and pain the way his face lights up and gleams with every smile.
Jayden (3.5) absolutely loves having a baby brother, remains curious about the world, and continues to test the limits of our physically ailing bodies with his passion for sports - although it did make the Eagles playoff run to Super Bowl LIX something we could enjoy together screaming touchdown Saquon Broccoli!
Balancing the newborn and toddler phases has been a challenge, but Connie and I focus on the simple things to stay positive - mornings filled with cuddles, a picnic in the park, or hugs with grandparents. In August, after 20 months living with my in-laws, we finally moved into our own home (in West Torrance) which was a refreshing way to enjoy the new space we built and even host the holidays.
Looking ahead, SPA's "GOAT" will be in theaters (February 2026) although I am hoping to ramp back into the workforce and broaden industries. For Jayden, we will begin navigating the local school system and try our best to protect Wesley from his brother's indoor batting practice.
